Kiss of the Spider Woman, the movie musical adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit starring Jennifer Lopez, is new in theaters. How soon will it be available to watch at home?
Rated R, Kiss of the Spider Woman opens in theaters on Oct. 10. The official summary for the film reads, “Dreamgirls and Beauty and the Beast director Bill Condon returns to the movie musical in this dazzling Technicolor-hued fantasy.
“Valentín (Diego Luna), a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina (Tonatiuh), a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna (Lopez).”

When Kiss of the Spider Woman arrives in the home entertainment marketplace, the first place it will be available will be on digital streaming via premium video on demand.
Typically, Roadside Attractions, which is the studio behind Kiss of the Spider Woman, has a five-week window between the time its films open wide in theaters and when they arrive on PVOD. For example, the 2024 hit The Last Showgirl, starring Pamela Anderson, opened in theaters wide on Jan. 10 and arrived on PVOD just over five weeks later, on Feb. 18.
More recently, the Nicolas Cage crime thriller The Surfer opened in theaters on May 2 and debuted on PVOD just under five weeks later, on June 6.
If Kiss of the Spider Woman follows the same release pattern, then viewers can expect the film to arrive on PVOD sometime around Nov. 18, since new films typically debut on digital streaming on Tuesdays.

Since Roadside Attractions has a Pay 1 window deal with Hulu, viewers can expect Kiss of the Spider Woman to arrive on streaming video on demand on the subscription platform first.
Typically, there is a three-and-a-half- to four-month window between the time Roadside Attractions films premiere in theaters and the time they arrive on Hulu. For example, The Last Showgirl arrived on Hulu on May 23, about three and a half months after the film opened wide in theaters on Jan. 10.
More recently, The Surfer began streaming on Hulu on Sept. 25, just shy of four months after it opened in theaters on May 2.
Should Kiss of the Spider Woman follow the same release SVOD release pattern as The Last Showgirl and The Surfer, viewers can expect the film to arrive on Hulu anytime between Jan. 30, 2026, and Feb. 6, 2026, since new films typically arrive on the streaming platform on Fridays.
